Baera 2. Here is the first of three successive photos by an unidentified photographer that were taken from the 17th Street Bridge in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1951. Shown here are three unidentified Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotives pulling a mail & express train up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West. The two tracks in the left foreground are the leads for the Hollidaysburg Branch line: double-tracked to Eldorado, then single-tracked to Duncansbille.
